Zzzzzzz

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, loose blankets in a bassinet or crib increases the risk of SIDS. So, what is a parent in a cold climate or any climate to do? Try the Halo Sleep Sack. It was actually designed by a mother who lost a baby to SIDS, which I cannot even think about with out crying. We LOVE this item and so does the hospital that Baby K was born in because they give every new baby one! We received one for a shower gift as well - you'll definitely want two. The 2-in-1 version has a removable swaddle attachment that is great for those babies that need to be wrapped up tight. We've used it from the first day we brought Baby K home. It was especially useful with the addition of some medical tape while we had the home bili lights going.

Now that she's a little bigger, we don't use the swaddle feature anymore, she fights having her arms tied down and we find that she sleeps better and longer without swaddling her. If you're expecting or a new momma or daddy, add the Halo Sleep Sack in several sizes to your registry. You'll be glad you did.
